There are several ways to make sure you only get scholarly or peer-reviewed journal articles.
- Use the Library Search tool on the library's home page and check the box next to "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed)".
- In the library's databases, look for "Limit To" or "Narrow Results" and select "Scholarly Journals" or "Peer Reviewed".
- Search in JSTOR (mostly peer-reviewed journals) or Project Muse (entirely peer-reviewed journals)
If you have any questions about whether or not a journal is peer-reviewed, please ask at the Library Services Desk.
