  1. Go to the GTL home page (
  2. Find the “Library Search” box on the page.
  3. Type your search terms in the search box.  If you want to search for two or more words as a phrase, put quotation marks around them.  (For more on search terms, see the table below.)
  4. Look below the search box and make sure that “Catalog Only” is checked.  This will limit the search to materials in the GTL catalog.
  5. Books with location “General Collection” and status “AVAILABLE” can be borrowed.  Copy the entire call number, then go to the 2nd Floor to find the book.
